Combining two of my all-time favorite things—tacos and pizza—Fiesta Pizza is the ultimate fusion dish that brings the best of both worlds together. After living in Texas for so long, I’ve come to realize that you can turn just about anything into a taco, and this recipe is proof of Tex-Mex’s incredible versatility.

Ingredients
- 1 Pillsbury Pizza Crust
- 7.5 oz Jalapeño Cream Cheese Spread
- 2 cups Monterey Jack Cheese shredded
- 1/2 lb Hot Jimmy Dean Sausage cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 lb Mild Jimmy Dean Sausage cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup Green Bell Pepper diced
- 1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper diced
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro chopped
- 1/2 cup Diced Tomatoes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Crust: Roll out the Pillsbury Pizza Crust on a baking sheet. Bake the crust for 6 to 8 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
- Prepare the Ingredients: Cook the Hot and Mild Jimmy Dean Sausage, then mix them together. Dice the green and red bell peppers (keep separate). Dice the tomatoes and chop the cilantro (keep separate).
- Assemble the Pizza: Spread the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Spread evenly over the cooked pizza crust. Sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack Cheese over the sausage.
- Create the Mexican Flag Design: (or just mix the vegetables) For the green section: Place the diced green bell pepper on the left third of the pizza, then top with chopped cilantro. For the white section: Leave the middle third of the pizza with just the Monterey Jack Cheese. For the red section: Place the diced red bell pepper and diced tomatoes on the right third of the pizza.
- Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza back into the oven. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven.
- Serve: Slice the pizza and enjoy your delicious Cinco de Mayo Pizza.
