The Back Story

From an early age, all roads led to Langston Living. I’m a small-town girl turned city slicker. I grew up in Mississippi, the youngest of five in a bustling household. My mother, the local food editor, and my sister, head of a catering company, were my first teachers in the art of hosting.

They instilled in me a love for delicious food, meticulous party planning, and big family fun. My southern roots are where I soaked up tradition, a love for antiques, fine linens, manners, and grace—the foundation of true hospitality.

After three decades of hosting shindigs, I had an epiphany. So many friends were hesitant to host. Why? It dawned on me that they were afraid of not living up to some lofty societal standard, coupled with a complete lack of guidance to overcome this fear. This realization was my turning point. 

It was time to switch gears and start a new mission- to empower you to master the art of confident hosting. I'm here to revive genuine hospitality and grace, one epic party at a time. And there you have it! Join our thriving community of like-minded entertainers.

Light Bulb Moment

Early Days

I swapped the serenity of my hometown for the buzz of NYC and LA. Culture shock? You betcha! Working as a flight attendant was like taking a masterclass in multitasking- and one helluva resume builder for Langston Living.

Big City Living

Next stop–Dallas, where I met my husband, launched my interior design career and hopped on the roller-coaster of raising four kids. My home transformed into a hub of endless entertainment. During the whirlwind, I honed my ability to turn chaos into cherished memories.
