Stock the Bar Freebie for Endless Fun

A well-stocked bar is like the unsung hero of any gathering. Get it now!

These biscuit beignets give you all the fluffy goodness of a classic beignet—without the hassle of making dough from scratch. Toss them in powdered sugar straight out of the air fryer, and you’ve got a New Orleans-inspired treat that’s dangerously easy to make (and even easier to eat).

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerated biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
  • Cinnamon (optional, if you’d like to add some flavor to the sugar coating)

Instructions

Prep the Biscuits

  • Use store-bought canned biscuits (like Pillsbury) or homemade dough.
  • Quarter each biscuit for bite-sized beignets.
  • If you prefer a sweeter beignet, sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the dough.

Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Set to 350°F (175°C) for a crisp, golden finish.

Coat with Butter or Oil

  • Lightly brush biscuit pieces with melted butter or spray them with oil.

Air Fry the Beignets

  • Arrange them in a single layer, leaving space between each piece for airflow.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.

Powdered Sugar Coating

  • Place ½ cup powdered sugar in a large Ziplock bag.
  • Add warm beignets, seal the bag, and shake until fully coated.

Serve Immediately

  • Enjoy while warm, preferably with a Mardi Gras cocktail or café au lait.

    Pro Tips for Extra Crispiness

    • Use an oil sprayer: A light mist of oil helps achieve a more golden, fried-like texture.
    • Don’t overcrowd: Air circulation is key for even cooking.
    • Try a higher temp (375°F) for the last 1-2 minutes to crisp up the exterior.

They won’t be exactly like deep-fried beignets, but they’ll be delicious—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and way less greasy!
