A well-stocked bar is like the unsung hero of any gathering. Get it now!

If you’re looking to spice up your beer game, the Michelada is the perfect choice. This Mexican-inspired drink is often compared to a Bloody Mary, but with a refreshing twist. Greg enjoys his Michelada with spicy tomato juice, adding a bold kick to each sip, while I prefer mine with just ice and plenty of lime juice for a lighter, zestier version. Whether you like it spicy or citrusy, the Michelada is a super refreshing way to enjoy beer, perfect for hot summer days or any time you need a flavorful pick-me-up.

Time to spice things up with our irresistible Michelada recipe! Bold beer, yes please! 🔥 Recipe ⬇️

  • 12 ounces Modelo Especial beer or any light Mexican beer like Corona, Sol, or Tecate
  • 12 ounces tomato juice We like Zing Zang
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice rinds reserved
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Cholula hot sauce adjust to taste
  • Ice
For the Rim
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder or Tajin seasoning
  • Salt
  • Lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
  • Place enough salt and Tajin seasoning or chili powder in a wide, shallow dish to cover the bottom.
  • Rub the rims of two glasses with the lime wedges (or use the reserved lime rinds) and dip them into the spicy salt mixture.
