Topped with red pepper “devil ears” and a rim of black salt, it’s the perfect potion for anyone wanting to add a little fire to their Halloween festivities!

Spicy Black Cherry Margarita

Ingredients
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz black cherry juice
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz orange liqueur like Cointreau
  • 0.25 oz agave syrup optional, for added sweetness
  • Black salt for rimming
  • Red pepper for garnish (cut tops off, deseed, and cut two slits to attach to glass as “devil ears”)
Instructions
  • Rim a rocks glass with black salt by moistening the edge with a lime wedge and dipping it in black salt. Set aside.
  • In a shaker, combine tequila, black cherry juice, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously.
  • Strain into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
  • For the “devil ears,” cut the tops off two small red peppers, remove seeds, and cut small slits to attach them to the glass rim.
  • Garnish with the red pepper “devil ears” and enjoy!
